Overview

QRapid ("we", "us", "our") operates qrapid.co. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your data. By using qrapid.co you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Do Not Collect

QR codes are generated entirely in your browser using JavaScript. All content you enter — URLs, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, email addresses, phone numbers, or plain text — is processed locally on your device. None of this content is transmitted to our servers or stored by us at any point.

We do not require account registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information directly from users of the generator.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated, anonymised usage statistics such as page views, session duration, approximate geographic region (country level), browser type, and device category. This data helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics does not receive the content of any QR codes you generate.

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by enabling your browser's Do Not Track setting. In regions where applicable, we honour consent signals passed to Google Analytics.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense, a service operated by Google LLC. Google AdSense and its partner DoubleClick use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads relevant to your interests based on your browsing activity on this site and across other websites.

You can review Google's privacy practices for advertising at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. To opt out of personalised advertising, visit adssettings.google.com or use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.

Cookies

We do not set first-party cookies ourselves. Third-party cookies may be set on your device by:

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent QR code generation, which works entirely without cookies.

Your Rights (EEA / UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under GDPR / UK GDPR including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because we do not directly collect personally identifiable information, the most relevant way to exercise these rights is to opt out of Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above, or to contact us directly.

Data Retention

We do not store any user-submitted content. Aggregated analytics data is retained by Google in accordance with their data retention policies. Advertising data is managed by Google under their own privacy terms.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of qrapid.co after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
